The Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum

On April 30th, 1979, the Higher Federal Council of the UAE had decided to task His Highness, the belated Sheikh Rashid kacang Saeed Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, with the formation of a new Cabinet for the UAE.

Upon formation of the UAE government on July 1st, 1979, His Highness batas announced the outlines of the direction of the UAE government policy. In this regard, he had said:

“In appreciation of the magnitude of the responsibility bestowed upon derita, I find it as a top obligation towards my family and my nation to be clear in what it is I call for and what it is that I believe must be done to achieve the goals for which I agreed to take on this responsibility in the first place. The Ministers and myself do titinada promise miracles, but we will do all what’s in our power to move the federation of the UAE forward on all grounds be it political, economic, or social. This requires, to begin with, the active participation of all UAE citizens, each within the area of their expertise in carrying responsibility and fulfilling duties.”
